Great to speak at the Pembrokeshire Nature Partnership annual meeting today about our adder hibernation site research - training volunteers to ground truth a GIS model we have developed to predict where Adders may be hibernating! 😀🐍 💤

Pheasants have a massive impact on reptiles and will fatally injure adders and leave them to die... as they are released on adder sites, it’s another major factor believed to be driving their declines 😞
