It’s not on us to read as much it is on the government to warn each citizen of India . Regulation is the answer to prohibit marketing and advice and warning labels on the front of pre packaged food products high in sugar salt and bad fats.

Happy to see health figure in a discussion Inside the temple of democracy, where a parliamentarian time and again asks questions around why Indians are getting shortchanged on the health front. Hell these juices are liquid sugar and nothing else and there is no other way of saying this WE HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO READ LABELS

If you have to start learning about AI and ML, will you start from the very basics like Python, SQL, Statistics, ML etc. or you will directly jump into the project ? Which process is good for you ?

Indians are so bad in having basic conversations during teams meeting. How was your day? (Dead silence) How is your health? (Silence again) What did you do in the weekend? (Silence)

Looks Matter : When a client approaches, they first see me, whether he has taken care of himself first or not. The moment he sees you have a double chin or protruding belly or hiding your body behind a jacket . Client has all the power to reject you be it a doctor or nutritionist

Shashi Iyengar | Metabolic Health India®
Annual Blood Work: A Simple Habit That Can Change India’s Health India has a high and rising burden of metabolic disease: •Insulin resistance •Prediabetes •Type 2 diabetes •Fatty liver •High triglycerides The concerning part? Many of these begin silently and early - even in teenagers. I increasingly see: •Obesity in children •Early insulin resistance •High triglycerides •Low Iron, B12 & D •Prediabetes Yet most people test only when symptoms appear. By then, the process is already advanced. Why Annual Testing Matters India has: •Easy access to labs •Relatively low-cost testing •Home collection •High metabolic risk That makes annual screening a powerful preventive tool. Starting early, even from the late teens allows: •Early detection •Early correction •Prevention of long-term damage Basic Tests to Do Once a Year •Fasting glucose •PP Blood Sugar •HbA1c •Fasting insulin •Lipid profile (Watch out for rising triglycerides & low HDL) •APoA1, ApoB & Lp(a) for adults. Lp(a) once in a lifetime test. •Liver function •Kidney function •Vitamin B12 / D / Iron / Ferritin •CBC •HsCRP •Homocysteine •Thyroid panel •USG of abdomen to detect fatty liver Metabolic disease develops early & quietly in India. Test early. Detect early. Correct early.

Indians went low-fat… and hormones tanked. Testosterone ↓ Fertility ↓ Mood ↓ But no—this doesn’t mean “add butter to everything.” It means: ➡️ Stop removing fat blindly ➡️ Keep it moderate, not zero ➡️ Build meals around protein first Hormones need fat. Your waistline doesn’t need excess.
