This morning, I set up Gizmo, my @openclaw agent, to generate a workout plan for me. At 5AM, an ios shortcut is kicked off that sends Gizmo information via an openclaw webhook on how I slept using @AutoSleepApp, and weather to determine if I should run that morning or later...

@reza_finland Resolved in next update out soon. A number of 3rd party apps play silent audio all night to stay alive so we now cater for this.
English

@AutoSleepApp AutoSnore muffles the alarm ring and it doesn’t let it happen while it should stop recording the moment alarm goes on and let the alarm play
English

There’s a nice new AutoSleep update on the App Store. AutoSnore integration. Fancy themes for iOS26, new metrics and lots of other improvements.

English

@HopeLoveLaughMA Very simple to resolve. Go into app. Press settings tab. Press problem or request. X is not a support system.
English

@AutoSleepApp No, the first thing I see in my watch in tv morning is the score. It’s a massive hassle to get the basics. Your app is also overriding Apple Sleep data - ie, your app is saying I slept more than I know I did. Please relay to appropriate person.
English

Dear - @AutoSleepApp I want to see the amount of sleep I got on my watch when I open it. Make the sleep score the second screen. Sleep Hours & Minutes are the most important KPIs. Everything else is secondary.
English

@saturn4disivion @AppStore Thanks! Please use help / problem or request and we can explain how to setup a shortcut.
English

@AutoSleepApp @AppStore Congratulations on such a good app!
On another note, I’ve recently purchased AutoSnore and I’ve been having difficulty using it since its start option is only manual. Is there anyway for it to sync and record automatically just like AutoSleep ?
English

Thanks for making us app of the day @AppStore ! Perfect timing for people looking to start the New Year with the health benefits that great sleep can bring. #OnTheAppStore
English

@yashggoyal Thanks for the mention. The entertaining thread makes me feel like the monolith in the opening scene from 2001.
English

@lottsnomad @AutoSleepApp has been the leader in sleep tracking so it’s entirely possible that their users just paid for this app too.
i’m not willing to pay the extra $5 for it but there’s so much health anxiety these days, makes sense
English

@HopeLoveLaughMA Please use settings tab, problem or request option. How long slept is the first thing you see. HealthKit depends on a few settings. Just send support request and we can provide instructions.
English

Dear @AutoSleepApp - the first statistic I want to see is how long I slept. How many hours. How many minutes. Everything else should be on the second screen. I don’t want you overriding the native Apple sleep app, either.
English

@Hakann_27 Just go to problem or request option in the app and it can be quickly solved.
English

@AutoSleepApp i used many jears but with latest update not working good its not correct

@alexisgallagher @xeophon Best to change your goal to something more realistic. You can do that in settings. That number is mainly to help people to understand how sleep debt adds up. It is often surprising. The way to address is a realistic goal and good sleep hygiene. Hope that helps.
English

@xeophon @AutoSleepApp To do that for a single day, I find not so easy. 🤷♂️
English

I enjoy the Can Do optimism here by @AutoSleepApp but I rather doubt that I can, in fact, “sleep for 12h 58m tonight.” 🤣

English

@BarnB A regional thing sorry. Fixed yesterday and submitted to App Store.
English

@conniehazendonk Regional setting. Fixed yesterday and update submitted to App Store. Sorry about that! 😱
English

@handleym99 Not seen that one before. If you can use problem or request option in the app then we can help.
English

Announcing our new companion app AutoSnore. A simple, fun, affordable iPhone app that does a nice job of capturing your snores. There’s also a pretty big AutoSleep update coming soon stay tuned for that one. apps.apple.com/au/app/autosno…
English

@WalterAkana Apple sleep does not use health data. It will be HR. DM or use problem or request and I can help you with settings.
English

@AutoSleepApp Hi! Question for ya: How is it that my AutoSleep app shows 0 minutes of deep sleep while my iPhone Health app shows 40 minutes of deep sleep?
English

@openrimshot Can you email support please. It’s a long answer.
English

@AutoSleepApp
Thanks for the App's support everyday. Actually I'm very satisfied with AutoSleep, but I have only one question.
*sorry, some of the following terms/expressions would be different from the actual App's one, because I'm using Japanese version
English

@awpthorp DM and I can give you my thoughts on how useful tracking REM on wearable devices is.
English

Started using @AutoSleepApp it’s a level up from apples own sleep/health apps.
These things like sleep fuel eating and readiness score come from HRV and having the breathe watch app every day.
Not getting much REM and Deep sleep lately, not sure why other than had food poisoning last week so body might be coming around.
Training 3/4 times a week soon to be 5-6 so trying to be mindful of sleep. When I train I need about 8.5 hours of sleep I’ve found, otherwise I’m just fucked.
Only realised the “lights off feature” last few days so it will get more accurate.
@bryan_johnson little app for you if you still use Apple Watch

English

@zanehkoch @karpathy But feel free to DM and I can let you know a bit more.
English

@zanehkoch @karpathy But AutoSleep doesn’t have a sleep score. They aren’t very useful and cause anxiety. There is a summary of the 4 rings & that varies on the mode you use. You will get much more value diving into key sleep health metrics. I always try to educate rather than prescribe.
English

I love 'n of 1' experiments like this but I was left wanting a quantitative comparison between the score of each sleep tracker and @karpathy's self-reported feeling in the morning.
So for the 14 days with a note of how he felt in the morning, I asked o1 to convert these into a quantitative score (with 0 representing feeling horrible and 100 feeling great).
Then I compared these "sleep sentiment scores" with the sleep scores from @ouraring, @eightsleep, @WHOOP, and @AutoSleepApp.
The results exactly matched what Andrej concluded! That Whoop > Oura > 8sleep > Autosleep/Apple watch.
This matches my own experience with my Oura feeling consistently more accurate than my Garmin watch.

"Finding the Best Sleep Tracker" Results of an experiment where I wore 4 sleep trackers every night for 2 months. TLDR Whoop >= Oura > 8Sleep >> Apple Watch + AutoSleep. Link simply right here instead of in a reply because ¯\(ツ)/¯ karpathy.bearblog.dev/finding-the-be…
