@CardPurchaser Wow, this PSA scandal is massive! Quick summary: - guy submits 30 cards to PSA - all 30 cards come back PSA 9. Zero 10's. - guy sells PSA 9 cards to PSA via Buyback Program - 11 of the cards now reappear in PSA's system as 10's STOP sending your cards to PSA!

Am I crazy to think that Judge is a lock for 500 and also that 600 is reasonably within reach? (I don’t see 700 happening because hitting 300 homers after turning 34 is literal insanity.)
Jim Miloch@podoffame

Happy 34th Birthday, Aaron Judge. Judge sits at 378 career HRs. Here is how many HRs Judge needs to reach key milestones, as well as how many players have hit that many HRs after turning 34: 122 HR to 500: 56 players 222 HR to 600: 7 players 322 HR to 700: Only Barry Bonds

OTD ‘89 Kevin Mitchell made his iconic one-handed catch! His ‘89 season was incredible. Total destruction. .291/47 HRs/125 RBI, NL MVP, Giants won NL pennant. 🎞️ @BSmile

It was a pleasure hearing Jack reminisce as he did! 95years of loving the game of baseball 👍🏻

@laskey19 @KNBR That was really fun listening to Jack McKeon and his memories. I loved his old-school way of speaking, and he brought up many baseball names familiar to me from my younger days! Thank you for this great interview!

Joe DiMaggio was in fact voted as "the greatest living player" on the occasion of baseball's centennial in 1969, but you don't have to take the voters' word for it: here's Ted Williams himself, then the greatest living hitter, endorsing Joe D as the greatest he ever saw.
Tony Wuench@twuench

@notgaetti @EmSheDoesIt @orwellian @Johnsense38 @martymaciaszek @OfficialMLBRFC @BigLeagueDigest @OleTimeHardball @FantasyBaseBNow @theaceofspaeder @JessicaDBrand The greatest hitter of all-time, Ted Williams, considered Joe DiMaggio the greatest ballplayer he ever saw. That gives a lot of credibility to Joe D's insistence on being introduced as "the greatest living ballplayer."

The Giants are 13-15. They have played a gauntlet of a schedule, and had some growing pains with a new manager. Rafael Devers has been bad Willy Adames has been bad Logan Webb has been bad (for his standards) Water will find its level. Super encouraging stuff. Philly looms.

If you weren't familiar with the "greatest living ballplayer" bit, Joe D was insistent on being introduced that way. In fact, at a Yankee Stadium event honoring Mickey Mantle in 1995, DiMaggio punched host Billy Crystal in the stomach for failing to introduce him as such.
Not Gaetti@notgaetti

"Earle, Bern, c'mon now, get on in here," Mantle said, inviting Combs and Williams into a group photo of the most iconic Yankee center fielders of all time. "Greatest. Living. Ballplayer," a furious DiMaggio growled through clenched teeth as Bernie stepped in front of him.

Imagine being told youre taking over a massive political organization abruptly after your husband is murdered You're told you cannot crack you cannot break you must hold it together. You get death threats, insults, and no matter what you do they tell you youre wrong.

Erika Kirk breaks down in tears as she leaves the White House dinner after shots were fired. She was tragically widowed when a left-wing assassin took her husband’s life. Heartbreaking to see what Charlie Kirk’s wife has gone through.

In 1918, Walter Johnson fired an 18-inning shutout. Nobody knows what his pitch count was that day but his testicle count was two and that’s what managers relied on back then.

@Berrybombs69 These cards are all positioned in a way that they aren’t going to be found early on, it wouldn’t financially make sense to release them until a certain profit point
