It’s not “AI slop” because it looks horrible it’s slop because there’s no human creativity in it. Same reason tracing manga in elementary school didn’t make you an artist. It’s poor imitation masquerading as art, and it’s exhausting how many people can’t grasp that difference

I'll say it again, I think this AI cycle we are in is a net negative on society
A man/team that has made the web significantly more pleasant as a platform for many people and spent years doing so for free has AI effectively destroy the business model by first taking his work
And this is how a member of the community responds. Real sad times
IP theft is real and I personally think that the C-suite of these current companies deserve jail time for the level of theft they enabled

@ThePrimeagen @MichaelThiessen I've been going through this same thing with generative 3D stuff, I'm always hesitant to reject new tech out of hand but every experiment I've tried the results far super far short of the claimed ability. Still no idea if its a skill issue on my part of if claims are unfounded

The @GEVernova profile is hands down the WORST washer/dryer combo on the market.
This machine is an absolute nightmare. I’ve been trying to dry the same load of laundry since 10AM this morning (6hrs ago).
I’m going to back to a split system…buyers beware!

The Hyundai Tucson has the coolest-looking digital instrument cluster. The rest of the car is shockingly nice too! Never have I been this impressed with a sub-$30k car. Our 28k-mile rental looked brand new too (upside of super tasteful hard plastic!).
