@cybrtrkguy I heavily used a gen 1 40A UMC for almost 6 years at home, and it looked well used when I got it. Still woks for occasional charging on travel, at full speed or low current.

On Cybertruck, PPF that is not wrapped around the edges might be easier. Otherwise it's much easier to stretch vinyl on any curves. PPF is hard to wrap around Cybertruck edges and make it stick. PPF will actually give some protection from stones and hazards. Vinyl will get ripped up by hazards and may need redone, but easy to do. PPF will leave lots of residue that takes a lot of work to clean residue when removed, including very possible damage to the paint it was protecting. PPF over vinyl with a ceramic coat on top might be the best of all worlds but who is going to go through all that time and expense. Go for what you like and understand the pros and cons.

@CSUDavid @trentsizemore I’m trying to decide between the two. PPF looks easier to install for a DIYer since you put it on wet. No?

Our Cybertruck has been reverted back to its traditional original form before trading in. Only took like an hour to remove the entire vinyl wrap, then a bit more to get the little pieces off the inside edges. Absolutely no residue left underneath.

@Teslarati The problem is when standard is the right speed, but it wants to pass someone doing 1mph slower and very slowly passes while holding up faster traffic. I frequently have to bump to hurry and back for these cases.

@Teslarati Bring back the "minimize lane change" option or make standard mode less lane jumpy

@cybrtrkguy ...and zero difference noticed for me. Maybe on those tires it will have something to cancel. I get no noticable tire/road noise from the Pirellis on mostly good blacktop.

@DMC_Ryan Yes. Can't believe I pay for this now dumpster. I originally had premium+ but dropped to premium when the price rocketed up and it was fine with relatively few ads. Suddenly this week there are LOTS of ads, all marked as ads. Even blocked ones show up regardless of block status.

Am I crazy or are there more ads in my feed than ever here, along with lots of posts shoved into my feed that aren't labeled as ads but are from people I don't follow?

No distinguishable difference between on and off on any of my commute. All generally good blacktop, mostly highway. I do not get any tire/road noise, so maybe it helps if you have that.

Active noise reduction showed up for me this morning and took almost my entire commute to calibrate, so I guess I'll see if I can tell on the drive home in the wind. I knew it was there because the blue dot on the menu showed for something new. I don't know if it helps but I turned off music for the calibration.

@trentsizemore Auto still has fan high, med, low. I usually keep it on low. Took entire morning commute to calibrate, so I guess I will test it on the way home.

Probably nothing for us but with winds coming I set my charge limit to 88% this morning, 80% while at work today, maybe at 69% when I get home. Good for a couple days if we lose power; I'll just have to work from home if we need it. Might need Starlink in that case too.
