@RepThomasMassie I always do. And it should not matter if I give my id first or second. I’ve done both but they have to back up and start over if they process the id first.

Reminder, you can decline to have your photograph taken by TSA when screening. 9 of 10 agents are very nice about it. Just say, “I’d like to opt out of the photograph,” BEFORE you hand them your ID. They don’t care if you get your picture taken or not, and they know the law.
