If you are travelling from London to Ely you can change at either Peterborough/Ely and do the following 👇
👉 If you travel to Peterborough you can use Thameslink, Great Northern or LNER services and change there for East Midlands Railway, Cross Country and Greater Anglia services to Ely.
👉 If you travel to Norwich you can use Greater Anglia services from London Liverpool street and change at Norwich for East Midland and Great Anglia services from Norwich to Ely.
🕒You will need to continue to allow extra time when completing your journey.
⚠️ A problem is currently under investigation between London Blackfriars and London St Pancras, trains travelling through these stations may experience delays.
👉 We're working to gather more information and will update you shortly.
ℹ More to follow.

📢 Some services will be diverted using alternative routes, or will start/terminate elsewhere.
👉 If you are travelling to/from Horsham, or to/from any stations between Three Bridges, Horsham and Barnham. You may need to use an alternative route or change trains in order to complete your journey.
🗣️ Online journey planners are being kept updated with the latest service information, so please check your journey.
⚠️ A points failure has been reported at Three Bridges.
👉 We're currently working to gather more information on this, and the impact to services.
ℹ More to follow.
@alistrathern@LouHaigh Couldn’t come at a better time as I’ve struggled the last two days to get to work. I’m fortunate to have flexibility in where I work and can avoid delays by WFH. Not everyone has that luxury and the disruption to services is gruelling even for 3-day a week commute by their trains
Delays and cancellations are an all too common feature of any Thameslink commute.
For years the service being offered has been well below par.
Yesterday I asked to meet with Transportation Secretary @LouHaigh.
📢UPDATE
👉Trains running through Foxton, in the direction of Royston, have to run at a greatly reduced speed past 2 signals
🕓Your journey is likely to be disrupted by up to 20 minutes
ℹ️There will be a reduced service to and from Cambridge until this fault has been resolved
📟You should check station screens and planners for the latest information for your train
⚠️Trains have to run at a greatly reduced speed between Cambridge and Royston past a signal in both directions
📢This is due to a fault with the signalling system between these stations
ℹ️Your journey is likely to be disrupted, and we're working to gather more information
☀️ We're expecting some hot weather today! 😎
Please carry a bottle of water with you during the warm weather.
If you feel unwell, stay on the platform where colleagues can help you more easily.
@Lauren__Harding@Chaplin12Kate The service at 25 past from Hitchin was cancelled due to the investigation. The 55 past service was cancelled due to the unavailability of train crew. ^Sophie
⚠️ Engineering works between Letchworth Garden City and Royston have overrun this morning.
👉 The engineering works need to be completed in order to open the route.
🕓 We are expecting the engineering works to finish at 0600.
⚠️ The fault with the signalling system at Horsham has reoccurred.
➡️ Services that run between Three Bridges and Horsham will start/terminate at Three Bridges instead.
@TLRailUK Not a heavy heart for the disruption also to thousands of commuters trying to get to work everyday while these strikes continue to occur. Shame we can’t strike against your poor business management but unfortunately we rely on your SHIT services
It’s with a heavy heart we announce we're unable to run trains to/from Brighton on Sat 5 August. An overtime ban's in place so we can't run our enhanced Pride service safely. We’re bitterly disappointed to make this decision as long-time Pride supporters.

⚠ Due to a points failure between Three Bridges and Gatwick, some lines are blocked.
⏰ This may cause some delays on our services in this area.
🕒 You can still travel as normal, but please allow 10-15 minutes extra to travel to your destination.
ℹ More to follow.
@TLRailUK I’m on the Horsham train from letchworth garden city but am getting off at Finsbury Park, will my journey be effected? If yes, how long would the delays be?
📢 The line between Three Bridges and Horsham is blocked.
👉 If you're travelling between these stations, you will need to use an alternative route to reach your destination.
📢 We’re running an amended timetable with fewer trains this week due to an overtime ban by ASLEF. Services will be busier & it’s likely you’ll need to queue; you may not be able to board your chosen service.
🚉 Allow extra time for travel. Check ahead at nationalrail.co.uk
