Chalk Figure Near Weymouth, Eric Ravilious, 1939. This equestrian figure was carved into Osmington Hill in 1808, near Weymouth in #Dorset to celebrate George III’s patronage of the seaside town. The original artwork is in the collection of @NatGalleryCan.
