Breaking news: President Trump announced that the United States had bombed Kharg Island, targeting Iran’s most critical oil terminal in an attack that Tehran has warned would mark an escalation of the conflict. wapo.st/4bHy8M5

@elonmusk If a judge’s power exceeds the president’s something clearly got out of hand and is fundamentally unconstitutional. The people picked the president. Judges were picked NOT by the people. You don’t need to be a legal scholar to understand it.

Elon Musk is absolutely right. If any random judge can unilaterally block every presidential action nationwide, then elections become meaningless. The people vote for a leader to set policies, not for unelected activist judges to overrule them at every turn. This is judicial tyranny, not democracy. For years, left-wing judges have abused their power to obstruct conservative policies while rubber-stamping radical leftist overreach. Under Biden, courts had no problem letting his administration trample on constitutional rights. But now that Trump is back, these same activist judges are suddenly declaring war on executive authority. The double standard is undeniable. This is not how a constitutional republic is supposed to function. Presidents are elected to lead, and their policies should not be sabotaged by judicial operatives working on behalf of the radical left. If democracy means anything, then the will of the people must be respected. The judiciary was never meant to be a partisan weapon. It’s time to rein in activist judges who think they can override the elected government. Congress should act to curb their power, and the Supreme Court must step in to restore balance. If America is to survive as a functioning democracy, judicial overreach must be stopped—before it’s too late.

@elonmusk if @DOGE is "trying to be as transparent as possible" why is it exempt from FOIA? Why use the Presidential Records Act as a shield?

@elonmusk @amasad If this is true, why do I know so many engineers who can’t get hired in Silicon Valley?

@amasad There is a permanent shortage of excellent engineering talent. It is the fundamental limiting factor in Silicon Valley.

Genuinely curious: Are there actual instances where qualified native born Americans couldn’t get jobs in tech because foreigners took all of them? I’d be surprised if it’s true because at any given point there are hundreds of thousands of unfilled jobs in tech.

@DMesser Great. Then find me an equivalent example and I’ll happily be consistent. There is no politician who would get a pass from me for showing up looking like a disheveled slob.

@PMC713 Yes. If you’re going to criticize behavior, decorum, etc. then I will always want to know if you’ve applied those standards uniformly regardless of party. That’s not a fallacious or unfair inquiry.

@DMesser There it is. It’s always gotta go back to Trump. No Democrat can ever be wrong about something without that inevitable pivot.

@PMC713 Obviously. I’m sure you’d feel the same and post the same if he happened to share your political perspective, right? Let’s see if I can find your post about Trumps professionalism serving McDonalds at the White House.

@PMC713 I will repeat, a president is not a king. He has to obey laws and delegate to those in charge. Not sure why this is so hard for people to understand, why they think anyone else would have different results.

@KYGOP @DanielCameronAG @JamesATipton Is Daniel’s plan the same as Mike’s plan? To dismantle teacher retirement? That’s kind of what got Mike un-elected so… maybe don’t lead with that.
