Does bias in the “peer” review process slow scientific advancement? Look no further than 1970 Nobel Prize winning physicist, Hannes Alfvén, to see where the peer review system fails. When a dying paradigm is defending itself, real scientific advances are ignored & delayed.

Exxon knew it was a threat to their business in the 80s well before there was much social stigma on any side.
