@Sp00nsTim @TurnipRail @flyinglawyer73 I took mine to a few interviews in 1993 when teachers insisted how valuable these were and "you won't get an interview without it" Each time I presented mine I was greeted with a look of "WTF is this supposed to be?" None of them had any Idea they existed or what was so special.

@TurnipRail @flyinglawyer73 DO NOT THROW IT AWAY!! You will never obtain gainful employment without it, employees will insist on seeing it before you even get an interview! Teachers wouldn’t make shit up like this!

It feels wrong to be getting rid of this, but after nearly 30 years of following me around and serving practically no purpose, we will now part ways. But trust me, my personal statement was amazing.

Lorraine Kelly is feeling “lost and flat” after brutal ITV cost-cutting has left her struggling with life without her long-term team. Her show has been slashed to just 30-minute episodes and will only air for 30 weeks a year instead of 52. Several close colleagues, including stand-in presenters Ranvir Singh and Christine Lampard, have been axed. The 66-year-old is facing the longest time off TV in her entire 40-year career. A source said her old team was like a “second family” and she’s now “pining” for them.

@ukboomers According to RealScienceTruth96435 on Twitter, asbestos is actually good for you. They just want to keep it a secret. I know he's telling the truth because I read about it on my uncle's Facebook page.

Tenants in our second buy to let found some asbestos pipes. It was there when we bought the place in 1994 and it never bothered us. We lived with it for years. What's the fuss? We told them to leave it alone but they want a specialist. £3,000 they quoted us. Our handyman Dave said he'd rip it out for £200 cash. Problem solved. Back in our day we just got on with it. 🇬🇧

Make Europe Great Again - M.E.G.A
🚨🇬🇧BREAKING ALERT: NІGЕL FАRАGЕ has just unveiled a massive game-changing bill that could redefine exactly who is eligible to lead Brіtаіn. His rаdіcаl proposal would legally restrict the office of Prіmе Mіnіstеr and all seats in Pаrlіаmеnt only to those born on Brіtіsh soil. It is a ruthless but bold move meant to secure leaders with an unbreakable, lifelong bond to the nation's founding values. Do you think Brіtаіn's highest leadership should be strictly locked to those born in the UK? Is this the ultimate solution to safeguard the homeland, or does it cross the line? Drop your thoughts and join the massive debate right now!

Super Strong in Sidcup. The wonderful Luis & Ranw talking to residents: It’s the same story in this once conservative stronghold. The Tories moved so far to the left they are unrecognisable. For the majority it’s a case of once bitten, twice shy. Sidcup wants Reform

@ramonagusta @Conservatives You think the paymasters behind the Tories, Reform, Restore will allow the money saved to go back to the average tax payer? The billionaires and millionaires will naturally get a huge tax cut and everything will be given to foreign investment funds for pennies.

@Conservatives That's good but you also need to split the NHS into two... 1. Basic Emergency Care for all 2. Rest Private/Insurance based This will allow massive tax cuts too.

@Conservatives And the pensioners and hardly out of school kids will lap it up. Many pensioners have pulled up the ladder and the young activists for the Tories/Reform/Restore don't know any better.

@TiceRichard I think anything more than 9 casual days a year should get an HR interview where you are asked to reconsider your position. The NHS needs to be run by a proven and successful corporate person. A ‘you’re fired’ type of person.

I’ve taken just two sick days in three years—and those were to look after my son and my pregnant wife. Meanwhile, I’ve got family in the NHS who seem to take months off at a time. My wife’s an ambulance technician, never abuses the system herself, and finds it just as frustrating—she sees firsthand how much it’s being taken advantage of.
