@LeveeBreaks25 @AuthorTRobare I was in grad school when HenryV was released. Someone put a movie poster for it in the grad break room & I was on fire to see it but I didn't have the money or the time, so it was several years later before I had the chance--so worth the wait.

@AuthorTRobare It was great fun. I would look at my students & say, "You don't like Shakespeare b/c you've never seen him. There's romance, betrayal, revenge, violence, comedy, bad jokes, slapstick -- everything you go to the movies for." I believe I changed 1 or 2 opinions. 😃

agreed, but it's a lot of work if you don't already have a basic understanding of Elizabethan English when I was teaching, I hosted a 'Shakespeare Night' at least once each term, put in a Brannagh adaptation & turned captions on then watched people who "didn't like" Shakespeare *get it* good times!

Unpopular Fact: The World Doesn't Change Anger, rage, hate, bitterness, narcissism, deceit, sloth, greed, lust, betrayal, these have been w/Mankind forever & they always will be. Thanks to near-instantaneous global communication, more people can be organized or influenced to be even nastier faster than ever & it seems like that's happening. For Christians who believe that Christ's return will also bring a cleansing renewal of Creation's original perfection, there's hope. IDK how others cope but it is my personal opinion that we've never seen so much evil being so proud & rampant.
