@fantasygreed @RickDaSquirrel_ @Hansen104th The difference is that the Showa era featured mainly *different interpretations* of Godzilla whereas the MonsterVerse uses the same exact Godzilla, so it's weirder for him to go from serious to goofy like Showa did.

To be honest, I think for the first time since like 2018 that I’m not looking forward to a new Godzilla movie. Every creative decision that’s been made so far that’s coming out has lowered my excitement. Something I wouldn’t have very do. It just has me worried for the film.
