😱 People don’t realize how big this is. Traditional NEPA for nuclear was a multi-year and millions of taxpayer dollars effort—> to get to the answer everyone knows on day 1. With the categorical exclusion, advanced reactor concepts can be deployed at INL and other federal sites much faster without the environmental red tape. This is the kind of change the country needed for efficient nuclear deployment. Way to go Bob Boston , Seth Cohen, Cyrus Nezhad, Jason Anderson and the broader U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) team who made this happen. You rock! Now, let’s get it approved all the way! federalregister.gov/documents/2026…

It was an honor to welcome @Energy @SecretaryWright to @INL today, completing his goal to visit all 17 DOE national labs in his first year. 🤝 ⚛️ Stay tuned for more on his visit to the nation’s #NuclearEnergy lab! 🔗inl.gov/nuclear-energy #Nuclear #NuclearScience
