This is less than a third of the Japanese civilians killed by other weapons. You mentioned China and Russia, which killed like 60 million and 30 million of their own people, respectively.

This is the problem with the Israeli right. Basically the notion is that because Israel has enemies, it should be able to throw the entire costs of its defense onto innocent civilians rather than bearing any of it itself. Which is an evil belief, because civilians have rights.
