I dislike the implementation. The “design” is actually the ancient coin, not the design itself. It indicates a lack of vision in bringing the past forward, and shows only that the past is seen as an archeological curiosity to be “remembered.”

In this case it’s the opposite: the land is relatively cheap compared to the equipment and especially the consumable resource the equipment is employed to spread across the land. That’s why in your original image there’s still so much unused land. No need to optimise, and easier to just stay within simple cadastral boundaries.
