@PhilJones40 @Brother_UK This had caused me to actually get back on twitter to commend you on this stance. Thank you. As an events freelancer the times ahead worry me, but I hope our community will stand together and support each other.

Was thinking about this yesterday and can do the following at @Brother_UK: -
1. Where we are having to postpone external events we’ll prepay freelancers/AV suppliers etc.
2. We’ll early pay any supplier/freelancer that requests it due to hardship, no questions asked.

If you work with a freelancer and have to cancel an event because of covid-19, please do consider still paying them if you're a big organisation. You had budgeted to pay them anyway and they held the time for you, probably prepped for the event, and need to eat & pay rent.
