@johnoconnell6 @1968Tv A much more respectable defeat in the second leg! Fulham were in Division 3 at the time.

@1968Tv Liverpool 10 Fulham 0. Went to the second leg a fortnight later and the programme contained a paragraph saying “If the aggregate scores are level after 90 minutes, there will be 30 minutes extra time”.

@sid_lambert Gareth Davies standing still and apparently waving into the crowd as Mel Sutton runs straight into him. Possibly trying to trick Devonshire into looking up to see who he was waving at.

It’s the anniversary of this sublime Alan Devonshire solo goal at Wrexham in 1980. Lots to see here: - The glide through midfield - The cool finish - The celebration - The most ambitious offside appeal in football history

@pipterino 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 With the sensitive heart of a poet, a voice that could out-psalm David, and a body hewn from coal and green, green grass, there'll never be another like him. I always get him confused with Max Boyce.

@1968Tv A bit of playing up for the cameras no doubt, but still much more authentic than the repetitive clichés of today's anodyne pundits, who won't say anything out of line because they're paid too much to risk throwing it all away.

@tigerroarcouk @ExtremeFootbal4 Nev's comment is funny, but I think Owen's acting a bit to make the video more entertaining. It's not like Southall fell out with him over it, or the kid's upset. Not sure Newcastle fans will agree with your remark about Owen loving his football and not going through the motions!

@ExtremeFootbal4 the flip side is that no matter what Owen did or earned playing football he just loved it, should he go through the motions against the kid? what would the kid learn then?
