I’ve taken the post about the obituary down, because I don’t want people to think I’m upset by it. I’m not. Pissed off yes. But more, I just want people to know that any photos you see of me in hospital, looking sad or with tubes sticking out of me are 100% fake - AI generated
I went to the care home today to retrieve my father’s belongings.
This is what was presented to me. I had to ask twice for a private place to sort through it. I said nothing, nor will I name the “care” home.
My father’s life was not garbage.

President Trump delivered a powerful speech tonight. He was clear about our objectives in Iran:
• Destroy their weapons factories
• Destroy their navy
• Destroy their air force
• Destroy their chances of ever having a nuclear weapon
The President’s leadership sends a message to the world that the United States will defend its people and its interests, and uphold peace through strength.
Is Keir Starmer allergic to action?
Another non-statement this morning.
Drill the North Sea. Scrap the fuel duty rise. Take VAT and the stealth levies off energy bills.
“We’re dealing with a President who is a narcissist and a bully… a rebuke of some kind is necessary”
Broadcaster and journalist David Dimbleby says a US State Visit by King Charles “is a misuse of the King” and the UK is “giving Trump more than he deserves”.

Why does the BBC always think it appropriate to invite a left-leaning actor ( in this case Eddie Marsan) onto a current affairs show to spout ritual criticism of Trump & plug Labour & Starmer?
I couldn’t give a rats arse for Marsan’s views on anything. Stick to acting.
Now this absolutely lying, duplicitous, arrogant son of a bitch knows how we all feel. @Keir_Starmer was never going to last the pace. I predicted it before anyone else. Now mate - just give up. You’ve lost. It’s over…
In 40 minutes, Donald said: the Strait of Hormuz isn't closed, but he wants it reopened; we’re not at war with Iran, but our allies are cowards for not helping; he wants a ceasefire, but he doesn’t want one. He also declared victory three times.
Such clarity. Such leadership.
My friend tried to withdraw £20k from his high street bank & their response was shocking
For 30 years he’s has been a loyal customer of this major bank
He called to withdraw the money & they said no, you have to come into the branch
He went into the branch & asked asked to withdraw the £20k and they asked 'what it’s for'?
He said ’none of your business, it’s my money’
They said ‘unless you can tell us exactly what the money is for, you cannot withdraw it'
This should shock & terrify you, because your own money isn’t even yours anymore

I’m a school nurse. We have a rule. Kids without lunch money get a cold cheese sandwich. Nothing else. It’s policy. This boy came in one Wednesday. Sixth grader. Stomach pain he said. I’ve been doing this twenty years. I know real stomach pain and I know hunger. “When did you last eat?” He looked at the floor. “Yesterday lunch.”
Sent him to the cafeteria with a note. Told them to give him a full hot meal. Pasta. Salad. Milk. The works. Cafeteria lady looked at my note. Looked at me. Gave him the tray without a word. He ate like he hadn’t seen food in days. Probably hadn’t. Came back to my office after. “Am I in trouble?” “For what?” “For eating.” “That’s what food is for.”
Started keeping granola bars, peanut butter crackers, juice boxes in my bottom drawer. For kids who come in with headaches that are really hunger. Stomachaches that are really empty. I’m not supposed to. Technically against policy. Don’t care. Told my principal once. She looked at me for a long moment.....
Opened her desk drawer. Showed me her stash. Crackers. Fruit snacks. Applesauce. “What drawer?” she said. We never spoke of it again.
That sixth grader is in high school now. Came to find me last spring. “I just wanted you to know I’m okay. And that I remembered. I always will.” He volunteers at a food bank on weekends. Has since he was thirteen.
Best granola bars I ever bought.
