A life update:
I don’t even know why I’m sharing this in the first place, but I just needed to get it out.
We’ve been living in this apartment for the past 8 years, and it truly became home for us.
Around 6 months ago, the owner of the flat asked us to vacate it. We asked if they needed the apartment for themselves to move in, because earlier they had told us that we would only need to move if one of their brothers wanted to shift here, and we had agreed to that.
But when we asked again, they said no, nobody from their family wanted to move in.
Naturally, we asked why we were being asked to leave then.
We even offered to buy the apartment because we genuinely loved living here the area, the memories, everything. But they declined.
Then they gave us another reason.
They said the neighbors living right above us were friends with some big lawyer, and that lawyer was handling a case for the owner. Apparently, if we didn’t move out, the owner would lose that case… or at least that’s what they told us.
So we confronted those neighbors.
At first, they denied everything. Then later, they admitted it and said something along the lines of, “our marriage will break if you don’t move.”
Honestly, that made no sense to us.
If they wanted to move away from their parents, why not buy another apartment or house instead of forcing us out?
The most frustrating part?
My father, who works as an estate broker, actually helped them find a new apartment right beside our building.
They moved there.
But after just 3 months, the mental pressure and constant pushing started again. Once again, the owner began telling us to move out for real.
We told them we would move, but we needed time to find another place to stay.
And now, in 10 days, we’re finally moving.
8 years of memories, just like that.

1/5 I want to talk about my experience with "Astrix | Commission Studio", a Minecraft commission server, and how they treated me as a freelancer. After speaking with other freelancers who have dealt with them, I do not think my situation was isolated.
I do animation work, and this was my first ever animation commission from this server.
