@safooramashhadi @marklevinshow They’re killing Americans because we’re putting Americans where they shouldnt be
English

It seems like you’re completely fed up with such entanglements and you want America to stay out of these conflicts entirely.
That’s understandable.
But help me understand… when the #IRGCTerrorist and its proxies have been killing Americans for decades, how exactly does a stronger regime not create a problem for America?
How can I show you that weakening this regime (without costing American lives) actually serves American interests too?

Get out of my country, Little Adolf. Creep.

@BibleInContext1 It’s called His “passion.” That means it happened to Him.
English

@BPRomanFemcel @kasifhanif1 @_Pa_co_co_ @philosophymeme0 “Godmaker,” understanding God as pure actuality, is an incoherent term, so it can’t be assumed.
English

@kasifhanif1 @_Pa_co_co_ @philosophymeme0 Yeah, and if you see a god, you assume a godmaker. It's me.

English

@HeroAbility @MPloughboy @needGod_net It would be sinful between Mary and Joseph. It would be fornication. Mary’s Spouse is the Holy Spirit.
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net The 2nd century Christians were wading through a Docetist milieu that taught that things like sex are "icky". God made man and woman for sex together. It can be abused, but it's not inherently sinful.
English

@HeroAbility @MPloughboy @needGod_net She was not in a normal marriage with Joseph. She was a vowed virgin entrusted to him as her guardian. This was a practice at the time.
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net The doctrine became a "necessity" since Ezekiel 44:2 was used as a metaphor that it does not have to mean, at the expense of onah (Exodus 21:10). If Mary was the Almah of Isaiah, an observant young Jewess, she had to consummate to fulfill her duty as a wife (Nissu'in).
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net Hegesippus makes a distinction between James the Just and Jude(brother, adelphos) and Simeon (cousin, Anepsios). If brother means "close kin" or something similar the distinction makes no sense. and the phrase "after the flesh" is a biological argument.
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net I agree that it was argued. That's been my point. If the dissenters are all heretical, that would support you. They weren't. If the idea was apostolic, there would be no church debate. But there was a debate, until Augustine's popularity really.
English

‘Why would we listen to Iranians? Deal with it yourself’… Is that really how you view the collective fight of millions of Iranians trying to end this regime and its #IRGCTerrorist ? When the IRGC targets American interests with proxy attacks and destabilizes the entire region, what makes you dismiss our shared struggle so quickly?

@kaizen000000000 God permits evil for a greater good. Satan is also not in the book of Job, that’s a bad translation.
English

@safooramashhadi @marklevinshow Why would we listen to Iranians? Deal with it yourself.
English

Hey Nick F* *nets..
With every word you say, you are insulting the Iranian people.
We have decided to free ourselves from fascist Islam and Shia rule. Do you have a problem with that? Stop linking everything to Israel and Palestine. Just listen to the people of Iran for once.
Btw It’s Persian Gulf.
And it’s #RescueOfCentury mission.

@MikeNumerical @AzPetrich Shroud of Turin is a confirmed forgery. The guy who faked it admitted it to a bishop
English

@HeroAbility @MPloughboy @needGod_net There are lots of examples of the consensus being argued for in many fields of study. There’s a consensus among people that know what they’re talking about, and then they argue for it against uneducated dissenters or the few educated ones that are outliers.
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net Again, if there is a consensus then an elaborate explanation of a supposedly clear interpretation wouldn't be necessary from Eusebius and he would have a better citation from antiquity than one which doesnt support his view.
English

@HeroAbility @MPloughboy @needGod_net Cousins are biological relatives. Hegesippus didn’t deny the perpetual virginity of Mary.
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net Hegesippus, who is the older source Eusebius cited, holds the biological view from the quote provided. Eusebius, centuries later, holds a different view but tries to argue for a linguistic ambiguity in the phrase. My point was that in Eusebius time there was still this debate.
English

@HeroAbility @MPloughboy @needGod_net Like I thought you were arguing that there wasn’t a consensus, and then you quoted someone that supported the consensus, and now it looks like you’re just conceding that point.
English

@PiusGroyper @MPloughboy @needGod_net Eusebius is referencing hegeseppus. And no, when you say "after the flesh" you mean "after the flesh". Kata sarka does not mean something other than close kinship. Eusibius is trying to explain away this issue ... again, if there's no tension what is there to resolve

The article references a paper by Pearl Bipin, an engineer at India's National Institute of Technology Goa. It analyzes ancient historical sources (including non-Christian ones like Tacitus and Josephus), forensic details of Roman crucifixion (scourging, blood loss, suffocation, and the "blood and water" from John's Gospel), and "minimal facts" like the empty tomb and group post-death appearances.
Using Bayesian probability, it concludes the resurrection hypothesis is the most coherent explanation for Christianity's origins within a theistic framework—over alternatives like swoon theory (survival) or mass hallucinations. Bipin notes: "The resurrection hypothesis... emerges not merely as a possibility, but as the most coherent and probable explanation."
It's a historical-philosophical argument, not new lab evidence or peer-reviewed science; conclusions remain interpretive and debated. Full piece: dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ar…
