@ElectionWiz I do the opposite when I read to my girls. If the dragon or bunny is supposed to be a boy I will often turn it into a girl for my girls. In children’s books most of the time if the book is about an animal the animals are male.

@johnholowach @terrakei07 I’m from Ca been here about 40 yrs. It’s bad and you can’t say it’s not. The politicians are corrupt, La smells like piss, it has mountains of trash. Its is such a poorly run states it’s astounding.

@terrakei07 Ca resident here. TheGovernor actively tries to suppress the representation of his political opposition. Half the state is republican, and yet only 7 of our 52 representatives are republican. Democrats actively suppress their counterparts, they do it through corruption and fraud.

If you decide to pull your child from public school and homeschool your child You should get the full $13,000 for your child that would have been spent on your child in public school

You can do all that without a job.

I am shocked to see how many women say yes. I love my kids to bits but I always worked hard. Now they are adults we all have great relationships and a strong work ethic. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Kids need to see their mothers out in the world, taking part in public affairs, being leaders - or at least using their talents for the good of society. Otherwise what are we teaching them?

To the women who are on this app, be honest If you could stay home, raise babies and run a cozy homemaker life.. Would you??

@ThrillaRilla369 I would and I do! I left my career to homeschool my kids. I will admit there are days I miss work because it was so much easier and the days were so much shorter. But home life is way more rewarding for me.

I love my charter homeschool and the resources have been so valuable. You don’t have to participate and join in but please don’t vote against us when the time comes.

Health insurance for a family of five can easily cost $30,000–$40,000 per year. So -- If you run a small business and want to recruit an employee who expects fully paid health insurance, that’s a really big number. If that same candidate happens to have a spouse whose employer covers the family's health insurance, it eliminates that cost for you and allows you to make a competitive offer. You literally save $40k just based on what that candidate's situation happens to be. Such a crazy system in so many ways.
