Her name was Martha Odom. Seventeen years old. A senior at Ascension Episcopal down here in Lafayette. A writer. A dancer. Her school called her a joyful presence whose kindness brought light to everyone who knew her. She and two classmates were grabbing food at the mall yesterday. Minding their business. Just innocent kids in an innocent place until a group of thugs decided to settle their business with bullets in a public food court.
