@ZONEofTECH @EE Same at Mayfair around Berkeley square, where there are too many offices. Too many phones, the phone relay stations overloaded, not sized for that many connections. Same when the is a demonstration or other events with lot of attendees, they need to bring in extra relays.

Why is the internet at #ManchesterAirport always so bad? Their WiFi never works and even with close to full 5G bars on @EE, it takes me forever to even send a message. Does anyone ever get better speeds here? 👀

@nambrosebarry @MichaelCade1 +1 Those coming from Dev teams are happy to recreate the environment from IaC, even though last time it was used when the service was deployed. Those coming from Sysadmin teams don’t trust the IaC only approach.

@MichaelCade1 Ones that used to be sysadmins yes. Ones that used to be devs, no. Devs think a 48 hour bespoke process per app is fine for recovery. Sysadmins want a few clicks in a tool like veeam with 0 knowledge of the app and it’s running again.

@MichaelCade1 @ahmedmuhi01 +1 for oat milk, you can buy no-added sugar versions too. Some might find it weird, but I also like my Weetabix with oat milk. :D Luckily enough my office stocks the Barista version of Oatly.

@anthonyspiteri Surprised that I’m not seeing a Highland Park 12yr, a Monkey Shoulder, or my other secret favourite whisky I like, the Glenfiddich IPA edition. Thumbs up for the Lagavulin, the Hibiki, love those too. Highland Park 12yr is my ultimate casual one.

@MichaelCade1 Did the same with LHR to Hong Kong. Relative was on Cathay Pacific, me I was on Virgin Tlantic. That was 12,5 hours of race. On the way back was 15 hrs or so, same race. :)

Seeing these roadmaps and the lack of security mentions is concerning, I know I neglected a lot of areas of security with #90DaysOfDevOps and will put that right in the next version/chapter I have marked off though what we did cover in the project so far.

Just waited in line for 20 minutes for fuel… got it at $1.75 per litre … bout 30c less than tomorrows price here in #Perth I don’t drive a lot specially with cricket season done, but it’s still some crazy times to say the least… and I only have a Mazda3 not an F150 :)

@MichaelCade1 open question 4U and your followers. How'd you backup and restore AWS/Azure environment in an event of the account becomes inaccessible permanently. Mainly thinking of R53, ELB and other cloud native services of A/A what Veeam can't secure as of today? Reverse IaC?

@MichaelCade1 My most favourite features: - Transparency change of the window on the fly, - Automatic logging of sessions, - Open WinSCP with a right click to the server with re-using session. I was looking for a Win SSH client that can do terminal transparency like Gnome terminal does.

@MichaelCade1 Whenever I see someone using the classic PuTTY, I have a feeling deep inside, which wants me to let other people know of another SSH client for Windows, which is with multiple magnitudes better than PuTTY. It is KiTTY, use KiTTY -> kitty.9bis.com \o/

@MichaelCade1 I would also put in the bucket MCedit as an option. Especially if in your child/early teenager years grew up using DOS and Norton Commander, you will feel like home in Midnight Commander and MCEdit. MCEdit/Nano are good gateway text editors while you get more familiar with VIM.
