@TomP1Bellingham Great racing. Sucks for the drivers but 4 drivers fighting for the lead. Throw max in there too

@RFKracing @DAYTONA Heading to the Daytona 500. My wife and I got married on August, taking her to get first race! My first race was Kansas 2019 where @keselowski won! Hoping for the same this year!

@JerryJordan_KTT @FAANews @gbiffle An instrument rating would be required during the weather. He would not be the pilot flying most likely with clouds at 400ft light rain and 3/4 statute miles of visibility

According to @FAANews retired #NASCAR driver @gbiffle was certified to fly a multi-engine plane but I am not sure if he had jet certification, which is a separate rating.

Did you see little green blobs during the big storm a couple weeks ago? Well, they may have been FAEs, or Fragmented Aurora-Like Emissions, and your photos are helpful to scientists!

Nice example of proton aurora from the storm last week! Do other photographers have photos of these blobs? They are interesting!

@JAtanackov Other then that probably this incredibly bright proton aurora on the 11-11-25 storm! Those 2 days were just incredible compared to all other events i've seen!

This sounds crazy BUT is a known phenomenon during high-end events. Rapid changes in the interplanetary magnetic field distort Earth’s magnetic field, occasionally inducing low-frequency currents in the Earth and grounded conductors. Rarely, that causes sounds in equipment.
Sophie Miller@SophieMiller_04

Believe it or not, during peak conditions this evening, I heard sounds of the power poles next to me crackling. Turns out, under the most extreme geomagnetic storms, power poles can be heard crackling. Never once heard it before. #aurora #wxtwitter
