In Thailand, I heard a wild story last night about old-school tourist visa runs. 20+ years ago, when your 30-day visa expired, you’d hand your passport to a guy named Mike at a bar in Silom. Pay 1,000 baht and he’d send it off in a batch to the Malaysian border, get it stamped, and return it, giving you another clean 30 days. Anyone else experience this back in the day? 👀

@DuckieLouise Well, it depends on how far you're traveling and how fast you're speeding. The difference could be significantly meaningful.

Driving faster literally does not save time. I forget how the math works out but it’s because the difference between the speed limit and 10 or so mph over it is so negligible that you will not even make it 30 seconds earlier if you speed. You just make it more dangerous for the people around you. So stop it lol. I promise it isn’t the least bit worth it.
