Tornado probabilities this high at hr 204 tend to only occur around 25 times per year! The tornado threat for April 3rd seems to be trending up some. Still considerable uncertainty.

TACO-ing or waiting for the Marines to get into position? Regarding "talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements ... and others, they are going very well." Six hours ago ... *TRUMP: DON'T KNOW IF WE'RE WILLING TO WORK ON DEAL WITH IRAN

April 3rd-9th brings on and off storm chances back into the region and a good chance for above average precipitation. Severe weather? Heavy rain? It's too early to know what Arkansas gets in on. Our radar will be active though!

Harris@HarrisAuthority·
🚨 THIS IS NOT A DRILL 🚨 TRUMP HAS 3 OPTIONS LEFT IN THE IRAN WAR. ALL 3 ARE CATASTROPHIC. After 4 weeks of strikes, Iran just said to every American soldier: "Come closer." They've trained 20 years for this. ⚠️ OPTION 1: SEND GROUND TROOPS → 4,500 Marines mobilizing now → Iran has "designated kill zones" mapped for 20+ years → IRGC's stated goal: CAPTURE US soldiers alive for leverage → 13 US bases already uninhabitable ⚠️ OPTION 2: KEEP BOMBING → Week 4. Iran still counterattacking. → Oil above $100/barrel. Stocks down 4 weeks straight. → Iran decentralized governance BEFORE the war — bombing hits nothing critical → NATO allies refusing to join ⚠️ OPTION 3: NEGOTIATE → Iran rejected the US 15-point peace proposal → White House says Iran "defeated" — Iran just made 13 bases uninhabitable → Any deal Iran accepts = nuclear program survives → Walking back = 4 weeks of war for nothing There is no Option 4. No clean exit. The generals warned this before the first strike. They were overruled. The real war hasn't even started yet.

💥BREAKING: Nobody is talking about how fragile this is right now. US and Iran’s ceasefire stance: “We won. You surrender.” The US is ramping up military presence fast. If talks fail, this escalates quickly.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see some Central Texas mesoscale days mixed in during the first 1-2 weeks of April. General pattern seems to resemble some photogenic Texas tornado days.

Cold Arctic air passing over less cold seas is generating plenty of open cell convection/cumuliform shower clouds today, and increasingly showery inland too as coastal showers come ashore and as temperatures overland rise during the day to spawn further convective activity 🌦❄️
Met Office@metoffice

The proverb "March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers" is rather apt 🌦️🌻 The sun warms the ground and sea more now that we're in spring; this leads to rising air, convection and showers ⬆️🌦️ 👀 Watch how the shower clouds evolve in today's satellite imagery 👇
