Quick tribute to my grandpa since you all didn't get the chance to know him. He was a truly great man, father, and husband. He and grandma showed what relationships are supposed to be like He had an amazing life. PhD in metallurgical engineering, he got to travel to every corner of the world with grandma for work and fun He helped develop alloys that helped get us into space, alloys that made it into all sorts of high performance engines and other machinery And he helped raise my mom to be the great person she is. He will be missed

Every teacher I know personally is leaving the profession because students have become unteachable. They don’t read, they don’t talk to each other, they have no curiosity, no passion, no interest in learning. Giving kids unfettered access to screens has ruined a generation.
