It’s genuinely hilarious how so many civilians view our military. They talk about our troops like they’re these helpless morons with puppy-dog eyes. I AM AGAINST BOOTS ON GROUND IN IRAN. But, the majority of our troops would love to kill some bad guys. They signed up for it!

To those who keep bashing us Veterans who “look fine” but who are rated 💯 and have disabled Veterans license plates on our cars and park in handicap spots, know this! I agree a few do game the system but most don’t. Many are still not receiving the benifits they have earned! It took me 20 years of red tape with the VA l, after serving 20 in the Navy, to start receiving my benefits! If you don’t like it that I get over 4K a month in addition to my Retired pay and SS, I ask you this; How many years were you ready 24/7/365 to die for your country and what did you sacrifice?

@NickSzabo4 @SprinterPress The US can either interdict the Iranian ships or just mine the straight too until both parties can agree to demine it.

@SprinterPress Siezing Qeshm and Larak wouldn't open Hormuz, it would prevent Iran from re-opening it.

While many are expecting a US military operation to seize the Iranian island of Harg, a number of experts are confident that this is a diversionary tactic, and in reality, the US military will attempt to capture the islands of Larak and Qeshm, where the IRGC's naval bases, port infrastructure, and ship inspection control are concentrated The islands function as a narrow passage, effectively a toll collection point and the only guaranteed mine-free area of the Strait of Hormuz that can be "opened" for maritime traffic. It is noted that if Donald Trump's goal is to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, seizing the island of Harg does not make much sense, but seizing Larak and Qeshm does.

You will never understand where this war is heading by listening to either side’s rhetoric. You understand it by filtering out the noise and observing the movement of military assets. Deployments don’t lie, narratives do. Rest is theatre for markets, publics, and gullible media.

🇮🇷 Iranian soldiers in underground trenches on Kharg Island are posting photos and stating that they are ready to repel a possible US landing- 👇 🔹 Judging by the photo, the Iranians have already received FPV kamikaze drones produced by the Chinese company Shenzhen Beizao Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. This model is equipped with a 5.8 GHz frequency video transmission antenna. 🔹 The only threat that the US would face in a land operation - unlike Iranian standard conventional weapons - is precisely the large-scale use of medium-range FPV kamikaze drones within asymmetric warfare and ambushes carried out by operators… Otherwise, Iran does not have armored vehicles on land, nor can it offer organized resistance within the framework of standard infantry tactics against the US elite amphibious and land forces - especially considering they will have 100% air support… 🔹 Thus, if the US suffers losses in land clashes during the capture of the Strait of Hormuz islands, the vast majority will be caused by ambushes carried out by Iranian FPV drones… It is likely that Russian operators experienced in the Ukraine war are already on site. According to CNN, citing sources with knowledge on the matter, Iran is increasing efforts to militarily reinforce the economically and strategically important Kharg Island. Sources tell CNN that Iran has reinforced the island with larger troop formations, antipersonnel mines, man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), and other defensive measures, as CNN reports that individuals in U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s circle have highlighted these measures as potential reasons why a ground operation to take the island may be costly.

@visegrad24 Russia will play these games to pay us back for our support to Ukraine. We will win, but if they can make the cost higher, it’s that much more we have to recover after it’s over. Real pity that they lost almost half of their export capacity yesterday.

Russia is shipping attack drones to Iran Senior Iranian and Russian officials began secretly discussing drone deliveries days after Israel and the US attacked Tehran, the FT reports, citing two officials briefed on the intelligence. Moscow maintains close ties with Tehran and has provided its ally with crucial support, including satellite imagery, targeting data, and intelligence assistance. Shipments of weaponry such as drones would be the first evidence that Moscow is willing to provide lethal support to Iran since the start of the war. Russia has been producing one-way attack drones based on Iranian designs for use in Ukraine since 2023. They have been modified to help them evade air defenses and carry heavier payloads. Tehran has also requested more advanced air defense capabilities from Russia and agreed to a deal last December to receive 500 man-portable Verba launch units and 2,500 9M336 missiles over three years. Russia and Iran signed a strategic partnership agreement last year that notably stopped short of committing the sides to mutual defense.

Iranian officials have again threatened to open another front in the conflict in and around the Bab el Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea. The statements, made to Tasnim news, alluded to the possible entrance of the Houthis into the conflict, as Iranian officials increasingly tease the expansion of the “Resistance Front’s” involvement. At the time of writing, the Houthis are the only major arm of the Iranian-backed “Axis of Resistance” that has not gotten involved in the escalating conflict in the Middle East.

@WarMonitor3 I would be mindful of the new constellation that Russia is sending into space. 16 is nothing but if they can get enough up then the drones will be more dangerous. They use laser comms just like Starlink kyivpost.com/post/72522
