Went to the ceramics studio today and was surprised by a photo of moi. Also notice the consistency in outfit lol: the @VidaConference hat is my faithful ceramics companion 😂

Here's an updated version of our latest thoughts on dopamine. More data, more analyses, more words, same spirit. Will you check it out and let me know what you think? biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

New dopamine story from our lab! @TheCalipariLab. We showed that accumbal dopamine's role in fear and safety learning cannot be explained by Reward Prediction Error (RPE) hypothesis and it is in line with a "Perceived Saliency" signal. 🧵👇 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Immensely happy and grateful to share my paper just published in @CellReports with @NicTritsch! Take a look 👇🏼 to meet the sneaky dopamine neurons: Not only they steal GABA, but also unconventionally release it!!! 🥷🏻 cell.com/cell-reports/f…

I am so, so pleased that this work is now out in @npp_journal! Thanks to my co-authors for all of their hard work, and to our reviewers for their insightful comments. You can read our work on how NAcC D1Rs shape transitions to reward-seeking action here: nature.com/articles/s4138…

Excited to (finally!) have the last big chunk of my PhD work with Mark Walton up online in preprint form: Nucleus accumbens D1-receptors regulate and focus transitions to reward-seeking action biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

For some reason I am really appreciative of @VidaConference this week. A virtual conference with style and class, well worth the cost of admission

Feeling real nostalgic for @VidaConference at the moment... I know the scale is completely different for #SfN21, but the environment that was cultivated at #ViDA despite virtual limitations is really shining through at the moment. A big retrospective props to the organizers.
