A pregnant hedgehog was admitted to our wildlife unit a couple of weeks ago. She had wounds which were too severe to allow her to be immediately released into the wild, so we planned to treat her for a few days before releasing her to have her babies… See our FB for full story

Recently had this little one come into our care, he was found orphaned & dehydrated at an industrial estate in Storrington. After rehydrating him we took him up to Wildlife Aid where he will be put with others of his kind and cared for until he can be released back into the wild

#Goring Library had some quacking visitors on Saturday 🦆 We think they were trying to stock up on their Bank Holiday reading 😆 @WADARS1 did a fantastic job of rescuing mama duck and her 11 ducklings from near the busy road and releasing them at a nearby stream.

The Animal Welfare Sentencing Bill has passed parliament meaning that the max. sentence for anyone convicted of animal cruelty will rise from six months to five years. The Bill will become law once signed by the Queen. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this a reality
