7/ If you're an ICP builder, investor, or community member: What do you think is the biggest reason for the gap between the technology and the market outcome?

1/ I admit it: ICP is probably the most advanced blockchain in the industry today. Fully on-chain applications. On-chain storage. Web-speed performance. Technically, it's years ahead of most chains.

@UtxoSaint As long as everything is not on chain, it can't be secured. If you need third party, it's not secured. It makes Cardano perfectly useless in the real world, exactly like 99% of crypto.

Does #Cardano still hold the “most secure chain” tag? May be buy how many of Solana and ETH hacks were the core chain hacks? It’s always some dapp or wallet or some other piece of shit 💩 software built on top of those chains that got hacked. And we made fun of them every single time. I will never make fun of Solana or ETH ever again because they are at least faster to market than us. We can keep beating the “most secure chain” drum but tell that to the ones that lost their $ADA on a shitty wallet on #Cardano thinking that we are the most secure chain out there. This will haunt #Cardano for a long time. Very bad optics overall..

@Geekchains Yep, we are mostly ignored outside of the ICP bubble. A single hack on a blockchain should directly place the value to 0, not being hacked, not have outage, and be able to store a hash, is the bare minimum to be a blockchain. They will discover the hard way it's all lie.

@itsjack006 The only important metric, for your personal case, is your entry point vs when you want to sell. What happened in between is irrelevant. You should not focus on it because whatever you do you'll never catch the true top nor the true bottom. Don't overthink it, just don't sell.

@juicyuceyy You make a mistake here, you see $ICP as a speculative token. $ICP is not a speculative token it's an infrastructure token, it means the value is in the network usage, everything else is not substainable. Soon usage will skyrocket, you shouldn't care about btc, or crypto at all.

$ICP - it looks like this bear market will last a long time - this market is struggling/depleted for liquidity since 10/10 and sadly no matter how strong the fundamentals are or how much building a project is doing it will still be at the mercy of $BTC However I remain optimistic that things will turn around soon and $ICP will have its own bull run 💥🚀

@goldste888 That's totally right, it's in this ballpark. You need to take into consideration that $ICP is at the moment unknown ( apart from the chart ). Institutions will embark soon, doing a *20 from almost nothing is not a problem. A single viral app could do it alone.

internet-computer:native would only turn deflationary if daily burn exceeds about 44,144 ICP/day, or roughly $99k/day at $2.25. That is far above the current $6k to $9k/day burn figure. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

@itsjack006 Don't worry, at least for $ICP, great things are done in the background. Cloud engines alone will *10 the daily burn even with very few clients to begin with. Swiss subnet too. Multi dex too. Ai on chain announced with multi dex will burn a tremendous amount of token. Patience

Feels like crypto is stuck in a range, and for someone like me who has no other source of income and no fixed source of income, it is a very tough time. That's the reason I'm not very active, because my whole day is spent thinking about what I can do to get some fixed source of income. Anyway, this is what the market tests: your patience. And I'm committed, and I am not leaving. I believe in $ICP, and I will stay here.

@Geekchains They lie since always. Just marketing bullshit. There is no competitor for $ICP at the moment. The fact alone the network had crash several times should be a big huge red flag, the main point of a blockchain is to be decentralized and not crash.
