@paulg he 1930s had radio + early aviation exploding today it’s AI doing the same at 10x speed. The scary part isn’t the tech it’s whether our institutions can adapt faster than they did back then.

Someone asked what past decade seems most similar to the current one. I said the 1930s. Great progress in technology, combined with corrupt, autocratic, populist political leaders.
