Exactly one year ago today, Austin Metcalf was murdered in broad daylight. The man responsible is now sitting at home on house arrest - enjoying freedom and time with his family. He admitted to the act, saying: “I’m not alleged. I did it.” He spent just 12 days in jail. His bond was reduced. Over half a million dollars was raised. He was allowed to graduate. And he is allegedly now attending college. And somehow, this is what justice looks like? This is a complete dishonor to the real victim - Austin Metcalf. As Charlie Kirk said: “Imagine believing that murderers deserve condolences, not their victims. The divide in America is between anyone with a grip on reality, and the clinically insane.” Those who support the killer are exactly that: clinically insane. Austin deserved better. And we are not going to let his name be forgotten. We will be watching. We will be speaking. And we will demand justice at trial. Today, we remember Austin Metcalf. We pray for his grieving family. Do not give attention to the killer. Do not amplify his name. Say Austin’s name. A life taken too soon - by a culture that believes accountability will never come. We’re going to change that. When we look back on US foreign policy, we can say the biggest blunder our lawmakers made was telling us post-911 that Islam isn’t our enemy. Humanity will forever be at war with Mohammedans. We need leaders who choose us over the Mohammedans and understand this is a war of us vs them. Until Islam falls, there will never be peace on Earth. It’s just the reality. I don’t think 2 billions Muslims are just going away anytime soon. It’s a shame for the future of humanity that we have all been gaslit into thinking we can coexist with Mohammedans. I’ll have more thoughts on my Substack but Pam Bondi had the toughest job in the administration. Not just by taking over a systemically corrupt department with internal (and external) saboteurs throughout DOJ’s 100,000+ workforce, but to meet expectations by the president and MAGA base for revenge over what the DOJ had done to Trump and his supporters for nearly a decade. Unfortunately, it became clear early on she wasn’t up for the formidable challenge. This is the right move by the president, albeit overdue. If Lee Zeldin is indeed the next AG, that is tremendous news for the administration and the base.

DeSantis played footsie with the lawfare against Trump rather than condemn it. On paper he would be an excellent AG. But this isn't a resume contest. We saw him talk like those cases against Trump might have merit. He's not the right person for the job.

I'm not TDS. I supported everytime. The difference is, I recognize he has flaws like everyone else. On balance, my support for him is rooted in his 'bull in a china shop' approach. An approach that he can never quite pull off because he appoints and endorses some of the worst swamp creatures on the planet. I know plenty of behind the curtains political crap about DeSantis to know he isn't perfect, but his performance as Florida's governor as been far superior to any Governor in the country and presents himself and his message better than Trump ever has.

I am going to very strongly disagree with some of my friends and say that Ron DeSantis should not be the next attorney general. Recall what he said about the Stormy Daniels case, his weak objections to the lawfare against the president including raid of Mar-a-Lago, and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, his refusal to defend/protect his own constituents being tormented by the Biden FBI/DOJ in the J6 persecution. Florida had the greatest number of J6ers and DeSantis did nothing to help defend them. (And spare me the "he couldn't do anything, they were federal cases.) He refused to even meet with J6ers and their families. A big no from me.
