So in last weeks Q&A we were told every new island should get a chance in new, and if it doesn't then post about it or ask someone. So here I am asking why our island never went into new after release. It is now day 17 and our island we worked 2 months on did not get placed on new. If anyone is willing to explain to me why I would really appreciate it.

🚨 Epic says thumbnails are becoming a bigger Discover signal. In Epic's updated Discover documentation, they state that thumbnail best practices will have an even greater impact on island visibility starting in June 2026. Some of the thumbnail guidelines Epic highlights: • Accurately represent your gameplay • Be unique and original • Avoid misleading players • Follow Fortnite's content guidelines • Focus on clear visual communication Worth keeping an eye on.

Hey @FNCreate it's been 4 days and our map still has not received any "testing" rows. No new or updated. According to your docs, the first 2 weeks is when an island gets tested in these rows.

Fortnite Discovery no longer appears to be showing CCU on islands. Not sure yet if this is a bug, a test, or an intentional change, but it is a pretty big shift if it stays.

Hey @TimSweeneyEpic , can you please look into the discovery situation in UEFN? A lot of creators are complaining and not happy that they only get 10 minutes of exposure (as they should) but the team seems to blatantly ignore creators for weeks now.. Can we please get a statement on this?

Being afraid to publish because the current Discover situation (maybe) puts the map in Discover for 10 minutes and there are no other tabs helps you to climb the Discover, so you know you've wasted 5 months of development. We're giving away our time. 😢
