MLS is a single entity where each team ownership is a Member of the LLC. The league has in the past also had 3rd parties own stakes in the league and/or Soccer United Marketing (its own marketing company). All player contracts/checks are owned by and paid from the league, not the team. Hence the single entity.
USL is a league (wholly owned by different owners and separate from individual club owners). The clubs are members of the league but do not own or control the league. Player contracts are direct with the club but the rev share (if any) between league and club is controlled entirely by the league.
My knowledge of NASCAR is that Ricky Bobby is the best that ever was… 😜

@golz_tv What is the difference in the business structure of USL vs MLS and NASCAR?
English

“USL is completely unique in professional sports that you have a privately held company that owns the league.”
USL Players’ Association rejected latest CBA proposal from USL and authorized a strike.
Connor Tobin, executive director of USLPA, explains the business model of USL.
“USL is completely unique in professional sports that you have a privately held company that owns the league,” he said.
“In every other sports league, the league entity does not act as an independent profit center.”
“Instead, the league brings in income and then in some way, shape, or form, that revenue is then distributed out to its clubs. That's not how USL works.”
“When the money comes into the league. Again, the league's privately held so those owners are the beneficiaries, not the team owners.”
“And so one of the things that we have in this ecosystem is a misalignment of financial incentives.”
“You have a lot of the investment to build these clubs and build these community assets that are happening at a localized level. Those are team owners that are putting that up.”
“They're carrying a lot of the risk, but a lot of the benefits are held by the league office. There's a disconnect there.”
“So we can have expansion, we can launch a new league, we can sell new teams. That benefits one entity, it doesn't necessarily stabilize the club entities.”
“If the clubs aren't stable. What happens to the players? Because the clubs are our direct employer.”
“So again, this is about an ecosystem and an overall business environment. Is it aligned? Is it in balance? Is it working in unison?”
“It’s not just risk to the club owners, it’s risk to the players.”
“You’re asking about Tormenta, you’re asking about NCFC (both clubs are now on hiatus). Players have signed contracts, who’s carrying the risk in these situations?”
“These are guys that signed leases. They’ve moved families to those locations. They’ve sat in market, they’ve trained on their own. And all of a sudden, two weeks out from the season, there’s not gonna be a team, here is a three months of severance.”
“What happens to the cost of breaking your lease? What happens to foreign players who might have visas? What happens in any of these situations?”
“What are the opportunities for employment on the other side of it given the timing? Who’s carrying the risk? That’s a system that’s not working for anyone.”
It will be interesting to see if both parties can find an agreement before Friday, when the USL Championship season is supposed to kick off.

Here is a look at the total number of new organic leads, by platform, for our core business last year, compared to 2024.
In 2025 we generated 34,295 new leads:
• 55% from LinkedIn
• 11% from X
• 12% from Instagram
• 12% from YouTube
• 10% from other misc sources
Compared to 2024, we generated 33% more leads
• Leads from X down -45%
• Leads from LI up 199%
• Leads from Instagram up 441%
• Leads from YouTube up +25%
• Lead from misc sources down 61% (because of improved tracking)
Here’s our focus for the year ahead:
1. Double down on YouTube organic as that has the highest quality subscriber & highest throughput of lead to purchaser
2. Find our groove on X again with long-form writing seeing increased focus & distribution
3. Continue to post consistently on IG and LinkedIn as those platforms deliver the most consistent flow of new leads
4. Run paid retargeting across all platforms to maximize return on organic following per platform
All of this in the context of prioritizing net new content across all platforms and minimize repurposing.
Going to be a big year for us.
Happy to answer any questions on our organic strategy in the replies below.

@WillScalez Makes sense — early days are all volume and reps.
Cold calling builds the muscle fast.
Inbound just gives you leverage later.
Keep going.
English

@danielworkman No inbound leads yet, still in the very early days. Getting all clients via cold calling.

@LuxxOrigin @LoganTGott I bet it could. If you want, I can let you hear what your leads should hear instead it takes 60 seconds.

@LuxxOrigin @LoganTGott The reason I ask is because we’re running a 30-day experiment on how many deals are lost in the first few
minutes after a form fill. The results have been… uncomfortable.
