All I am seeing from the comments from the Left on this thread is a blatant and snobbish dislike of working people. What they are saying is know your place because we know better.

Having watched Question Time tonight, Rob Kenyon was not the walkover that many on the gloating Left were predicting and hoping for. His first time on national TV obviously was accompanied by some nerves but he answered straightforwardly and honestly. If he did not know an answer, he had the courage to say so, unlike so called professional politicians who would just waffle around it instead. He also came across as a decent and down to earth bloke who knew his home area.

@francessmith The popularity of Reform is a sad indictment of how far the standard of MP's has fallen in this country. Grew up listening to brilliant orators like Tony Benn, and even though I didn't agree with a lot of what he said, Michael Heseltine. Kenyon's performance was an omnishambles.

Rob Kenyon is spot on here. Andy Burnham is a career politician. He’s a chancer that is taking the people of Makerfield for fools. He’ll be off to Westminster never to look back if he wins.
