Based on news optimism, 1 seems likely. Based on Technical Analysis, I would say 2. We failed to close above the weekly +ob on Friday, and the daily open to close range was short, there wasn't much momentum towards the upside. We're still below the 50% level of the large down candle, so I say we're still bearish and I'd be looking for Sunday to open up, but NY open to be firmly down.

I'm 57 years old. I have been working since I was 16. I have savings, a retirement fund and I am on my third house that I bought with my own money. Do you know who didn't keep me from having all this? Billionaires and trillionaires. It's about life choices and if you made bad choices. That is YOUR fault.
I Dissent@DissentFu

I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die. And there is now a trillionaire.

Dumbest tweet I've ever seen from Mark Cuban. Private companies are under no obligation to give their employees ANY form of ownership or profit sharing, not should they. Mark - did you become a communist? "should be required" ... really?! Now should owners be generous to their employees? Of course! But that is a far cry from forcing owners to share ownership with their employees. Insanity.

A strong argument could and should be made that every employer should be required to offer all employees stock in the same manner the CEO receives annual stock awards or options, warrants ,etc Whatever percentage of salary/earnings the CEO gets in shares, so should every employee
Ferbin@Ferbin08

@mcuban @elonmusk 150m own stocks. 1% own 90% of the gains. Ownership scaled. Wealth didn't.

@hothingsgirlsay I just tried this against my wife: "Can you define your terms? What do you mean by 'help out more around the house'?" Anyway, I'm sleeping in my car now. I think I lost. ps all kidding aside, I love this insight 🤣

Excellent point. Some people in the comments might be wondering but are reluctant to ask— What about when the person being asked to define their terms tries to flip the narrative & says something like “The fact that my debate opponent needs a definition of the topics we’re discussing highlights their ignorance of the topics at hand & the lack of seriousness they’re willing to devote to them, so I can no longer in good faith continue this debate.” I’ve seen that tactic deployed on a debate battlefield VERY EFFECTIVELY. It tends to win over a gullible audience. How would you address that?

We're gonna abundance so much, you may even get tired of abundance. And you'll say, please, please, it's too much abundance. We can't take it anymore. Mr. Musk, it's too much, and I will say no it isn't, we have to keep abundance, we have to abundance more, we're gonna abundance more!
Mike Solana@micsolana

odd I don’t see any of the “abundance democrats” posting about the combined spaceflight / satellite constellation and telecommunications / AI company today, which is experiencing the largest IPO in human history — I would have thought they’d be excited!

Thanks for stopping progress, Rob! What would we do without government oversight and regulation of the studios here in California? Oh I know! We'd still have a thriving Hollywood. Instead you guys pushed out all the production to other states, as well as overseas. Bureaucrats gotta bureaucrat.

There is no "sitting on" the wealth he has created, both for himself and for others. In fact, I got a bit more wealthy today -- did I steal this money from someone, Comrade? This, by the way, is why no serious entrepreneurs think about investing in your state over others. Way to chase away wealth creators, you Leftist cow.

Today, Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire.
It's a ridiculous amount of money for one person to be sitting on and comes as countless Americans are struggling to afford food, housing, and health care.   We need to tax wealth – immediately.

Unfortunately, the other concern we have -- which you guys don't get and don't want to get -- is that centralizing power into the federal government increases the likelihood for fraud, waste and abuse of the system. For example, why is my side rejoicing about the demise of the DOE? Because we didn't like the indoctrination and agenda your side was using the central government to push. That's the key different. Decentralization results in more efficient capital production. Centralization will result in more waste. Talk to me about the California Bullet Train, the Homeless Programs, California's Medicaid program. That's what we don't like. Your side, doesn't care to hear this though. You look at an ultra-wealthy productive guy and say, "Look at that greedy bastard!" when he's actually building things and making the world a better place. You Marxists think that government is the main vector for good to be spread, and hey... if you gain power by that centralization, even better. Speaking of... your phrase "if you let the wealthy spend capital" tells me how much of a Marxist you are, Comrade. There is no "if". It's called FREEDOM. Freedom to pursue industry, to produce wealth and prosperity not just for yourself but for others. That's the part you Leftists don't get.

This the basic difference. Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous. Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.
Don Wilson@drwconvexity

@RoKhanna I am highly confident society will derive greater benefit if that capital is in Elon’s hands than in the hands of the government.
