@CardPurchaser Wow, this PSA scandal is massive! Quick summary: - guy submits 30 cards to PSA - all 30 cards come back PSA 9. Zero 10's. - guy sells PSA 9 cards to PSA via Buyback Program - 11 of the cards now reappear in PSA's system as 10's STOP sending your cards to PSA!

Came across this on Instagram… what exactly is the argument for why PSA is the best grading company? This Poncho Pikachu went from an 8 to a 7 to a 10.. the value difference for each grade is thousands of dollars too..

I 100% get what your saying and have seen several vending POVs where this is the case but I have also seen some really cool venders who take whichever cards they like of the 10 different ones at either 95% or 100% their value towards the trade and ask for the cash difference on top. They just won’t touch the stuff they don’t like at all and half the time give a reason as to why

@dropshock @AustinTani Vending is slightly different, in my opinion. If I'm selling a 4k liquid card, and someone offers me a 10 different cards that are way less liquid. What is my incentive to trade full value? So you can have the liquid card and I'm holding junk? That FB post is corny though.

Valid, but at the time sylveon hadn’t moved much and there was a sale for the Crobat at $230. I was also already giving him $35 in value on the trade and I have no doubt that he got the Sylveon at a percentage as well considering it was one of like 3 Japanese cards he had. I honestly thought I was doing him a favor😂

@AustinTani Ended up working out, went to a different vendor and traded the Crobat and a few ungraded SIRs straight up for the Japanese Umbreon Ex😮‍💨

@AustinTani He wanted $15 on top and when I asked why he said the Crobat was at 75% or a trade value of $150..

@AustinTani This was back in November I had a PSA 10 Team Rocket’s Crobat SIR in English valued around $200 and he had a PSA 10 Sylveon EX SIR in Japanese valued around $165
