Correct.
There is a US bill to establish a Museum of Women's History at the Smithsonian. It was very bipartisan. Republicans in Congress amended the bill to clarify that men don't count as women. Democrats withdrew support.

@tedlieu It’s the Save America Act. And you don’t have to be a citizen to be in the military. So you could have a military ID and not be a citizen.. Only citizens are allowed to vote.

I served on active duty for 4 years and 21 years in the reserves. My military ID let me go to sensitive locations, like a military base.
Under the SAVE Act’s insane requirements, a military ID does not allow an American to vote.

This is why they are so quick to shut things down. It doesn't affect them. They walk around like kings and queens while the rest of us pay the price for their dramatics in Congress. They need to feel it so they will stop using American taxpayers as pawns in their games.

DHS is the third-largest department of the federal government — charged with keeping Americans SAFE.
Democrats are trying to DEFUND it.

🚨BREAKING: Sen. John Kennedy is moving to put the SAVE America Act as RECONCILIATION, which only needs 50+1 votes.
Reconciliation means they can pass it with 50 votes, not 60.
If the SAVE America Act is written as a budget-related bill (money, funding, enforcement) it qualifies for reconciliation which allows it to pass with a simple majority.
Why has it taken so long to come up with this?
Why is Senator Kennedy coming up with it? … Instead of our leader John Thune?
Thune has to go!
