@pastordmack I am so sorry. I grew up Southern Baptist and graduated from SBC schools but now consider myself a "recovering" Baptist. Mr. Kirk loudly claimed and proclaimed Christ but took positions that were definitely contrary. He was not a martyr for Christ but his positions drew strong...

You’re not the first one to ask this question. The gap between Black and White evangelicals surrounding this issue is widening as I tweet. THE SBC unqualified endorsement of Charlie Kirk will and already has set race relations back to the 50s. Really unwise move on the part of the all White entity heads.

@pastordmack I wonder why there was no such statement after the murders of the Hortmans? Or even a mention of it now? Or 1-6? The SBC is a hopeless racist hypocritical group.
