@ffSteeD27 This is why I said before that shippers exibit the worst behaviour in this fandom as they do in any fandom. People have pushed back saying I shouldn't generalise, but it's a common enough observation to where I think it holds merit.

Also not a single theory bro has called me an idiot despite me going to the complete opposite side of their opinions. At best they were awesome, at worst annoying. Clotis and Cleriths using my posts to push their agendas just makes me regret defending shippers a month ago.

@ffSteeD27 I’ve been where you are, and I’m sorry brother. It’s not all shippers obviously. And I have on occasion reacted too broadly to “them” as a group. But I really know the feeling of being very specifically deincentivized from discourse that was meant to be a fun way to love art.

@Braedberi__07 That's exactly the point I'm making. The concerns of whether Aerith's death being involved in the LSS mirror those about Tifa taking away from Aerith's role. The difference is just that we haven't seen the Remake version of Tifa's role yet..

To be clear it is not about a matter of "not liking" any one person or the other for saying it. It's simply bcz the statement is flat out false. Again, how is it that the climax of a character's story arc can happen in a scene & it not be about them 💁‍♂️ This is bizarre logic.

@ffSteeD27 its a healing process for both. Youc an add the deaths of aerith and zack sure, but if you dont, it takes away nothing. Regardless if they add it or not, the real reason ppl dont like your take is bec of the claim that Tifa centric to the LSS as well.

You know whats actually easier to say? The LSS is important to both Cloud and Tifa as it's the climax of their own intertwined character arcs. That's it. It's like arguing who is the heroine when both Tifa and Aerith are. What is similar? Tifa's role is viewed lesser in both

@The_Loony_Boy Honestly if people didn't properly read and understand the context despite me saying it 15 times, I'm not sure I can change their minds. Some Clotis are allergic to Tifa criticism, some Cleriths are waiting for the smallest chance to push their agenda. It's just not my fight.

@StrawderryST I'm saying it can be a defining moment for her while still being about Cloud. I feel like I just need to concede that LSS is about Tifa so that we can find her a climax, it makes it forced.. Also FWIW I think her deciding to stay by Cloud is THE moment her peaks starts imo.

@ffSteeD27 So, I agree that LSS is mostly about Cloud, that this is his climax in story, but where is the climax of Tifa’s, if not there? Even though Cloud is the protagonist, everyone has a climax to their story, Barret with Dyne, Red, learning about his father, etc. Where is Tifa's?

Also you guys might not realize it, but I hold the LSS in such high regard that my point is that putting Aerith's death after it could undermine it. This is coming from a place of "LSS is THE climax". Surely Tifa being the main support to Cloud there benefits from this?

Started fun and can still be but I'm now seeing people talking about idiocy and small brain for suggesting that a fictional character might be less important than another. So whatever, if you believe the LSS is equally about Tifa, awesome, I don't and never will, let's move on.

@ffSteeD27 its equal footing bec it helps both of them heal. Yes, Cloud more so than Tifa, but nothing happens in the LSS without her. you cant have the LSS without either one and the story behind their bond that leads to the point of the scene.

@FreyLeChevelu I can understand how you see it that way. My point was that IF the deaths of Aerith/Zack were to be added to the LSS, it really wouldn't be out of context or undermine Tifa because the LSS is ultimately about Cloud learning the truth. And in 7R, these lies have been enhanced.
