@YavapaiSheriff Adults over 65 should not drive. Like as soon as you retire, we take your driver license. They drive slow, they park horrible, they don’t move fast for emergency service vehicles, they think they’re entitled to the road and cases like this dude who was Probably dozing.

On Thursday, a YCSO deputy spotted a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Highway 69 near Humboldt. Recognizing that the driver showed no signs of stopping, the deputy made a potentially life-saving decision. He positioned his patrol vehicle directly in the driver's path.

Don Gorske has eaten a Big Mac nearly every day for 53 years, reaching 35,000 in March 2025 with only eight missed days—the most emotional being when his mother was dying, whose final wish was simply that he put the burger down just once.

@davepl1968 @SenTomCotton Why do we have to replace one vice with another in the first place? At least with alcohol, non-drinkers can walk into a building without being forced to also take a drink. (No 2nd-hand alcohol in the air).

@SenTomCotton Fatal car crashes have gone DOWN in ever state where it has been legalized. Generally, the only people really against it are owned by the alcohol lobby. People supported by the National Beer Wholesalers Association PAC, like Tom.

Marijuana today is much more potent than just ten or twenty years ago, leading to increased psychosis, anti-social behavior, and fatal car crashes. Arkansans don’t want more dangerous drugs obtained more easily. A change to marijuana’s drug classification is a step in the wrong direction.

🌪️ Twin tornadoes touched down earlier today near Deer Creek and the far WSW side of Braman, OK — including a massive stovepipe/large cone tornado with a satellite tornado dancing around it in a wild, close-range intercept. @AndrewLawton I still know people who think Carney is doing good things, is on the right track and the right person to lead Canada. They only care that he's "standing up to Trump". At least one of them secretly follows what I say here. Anything you would like to say to them?

Mark Carney was elected because he told Canadians he could get a deal with the U.S. He didn’t. He’s now moving the goalposts to cover for his inability to deliver.

This a computer, and you likely own one. It's a hydraulic analog computer. It’s essentially a machined analog computer that computes with fluid instead of electronics: pump pressure is routed through passages that act like wires, while spool valves, springs, orifices, and check balls perform the equivalents of comparators, logic gates, delays, and one-way elements. What it “calculates” is the machine’s current operating state, whether conditions have crossed a threshold to justify changing state, how strongly to apply each output, and how quickly to make that transition without instability or shock. It does this by continuously balancing forces—pressure on different valve areas against spring preload and feedback pressure—so each valve shifts only when one hydraulic condition outweighs another, while restrictions and chambers add timing and smoothing. In plain English, it is a real-time fluidic state machine that solves “if this pressure is greater than that one, route flow here; otherwise hold, delay, soften, or override” entirely through geometry and oil. They're used in every car with an automatic transmission, where it makes choices like what gear to be in and how hard to apply clutches, etc.... And some dude worked it all out on paper back in the 1960s.

This "fucktard" represents a global cabal of billionaires who are pulling Canada into a world Communist government. This is at odds with the US, who wants no part of that. So far he seems to be succeeding. Most Canadians seem willing to let Canada burn just to spite Bad Orange Man.

At present people can have a mental separation between real person and computer-generated NPC. Once game graphics get this realistic, what impact is that going to have on people beating hookers to death with their own purple dildos? Are people going to lose that mental separation between reality and NPC?

@elonmusk @nypost There is no way the unelected ruling class billionaires are going to let any of their precious money be given to us freeloading plebes. They would rather just cull the excess population so they don’t have to pay us, and do it “for climate change”.

I just tipped 20% on a bottle of water I grabbed out of a mini-fridge myself. I brought it to the counter. The cashier didn't even scan it. He just pushed a button and spun the POS terminal around. The screen suggested 20, 25, or 30 percent. For a moment, I considered finding the custom tip option. But there was a line of people behind me. The cashier was making direct, unblinking eye contact. I folded under the pressure of a digitized guilt trip. I paid $4.80 for a Poland Spring. I basically gave a teenager a dollar to legally supervise me purchasing hydration. He didn't even offer a receipt. He just spun the tablet back around and looked away. I said thank you. I thanked him for letting me give him extra money. I am part of the problem.

In the 1980's, Canadian broadcaster Global found a loophole in Canadian broadcasting legislation. Instead of broadcasting test patterns on screen and losing out on overnight revenue, they could send a cameraman into the city to walk around and film the streets of Toronto. Global producers decided to create their own original music to accompany the show instead of losing out on licensing fees. Because the show was entirely "Canadian Content", this allowed Global to leave key primetime slots open to broadcast American content. The show was called Night Walk. Although Night Walk was created to exploit a loophole, the footage that was left behind now looks like a time capsule.
