@JackTho16118251 @JellisSzn The pictures close up are really good! Just from the usual tv angle it’s very high and steep so you can see where it has thinned out. It still plays pretty good and true. Just doesn’t look good! Which at the end of the day doesn’t matter too much

I feel Wolves fans have seriously missed the points from some of our fans. And see it has being frustrated that we lost. Some probably is, however I was surprised at how they set up. It was very league 2ish, having a poor season I was expecting them (continued) #WWFC #GTFC 🐟

@brianthepython I just thought that was quite interesting. I know it wasn’t easy and I know how poor you’ve been. I haven’t seen many games you’ve played. So maybe you don’t play like that, just thought it would be a good option with 2 up top and especially someone who is about 6”6!

@brianthepython I made an earlier point by control I didn’t mean like 70% possession knocking it around like Barcelona. Just a bit more attacking intent, your wingbacks didn’t get up very high. Or you didn’t get down the wings very much and put some crosses in the box.

How were Wolves supposed to set up on a swamp? Any team struggles to put 3 passes together on that surface. And that’s not Grimsby’s fault, the weather has been awful and I’m sure it’s not like that 99% of the time. Wolves adapted and got the win - as they should’ve being a PL side.

@insidegtfc You can’t pass a ball on that pitch so we had to play direct. You lay a ball off & it gets stuck in a puddle you put yourself in trouble. Yes we were quite poor overall but it’s purely about doing the job which we did.

@insidegtfc I agree, felt playing 5 at the back and trying to get the 2 behind close to our striker allowed you out with your full backs far to easily meaning you could get up the pitch. Wasn’t impressed with us at all, swamp or not

@insidegtfc You’re missing the point. Only way to play was not to dwell on the ball. Look long. Clear that defence especially were told not to control the ball and hit it back into your half. Not by choice but out of necessity
