@CoachMongero What’s perfect here is the consistency, did he miss some on the right side of the plate yes but he was consistent. You knew what you were getting from him

With all that pressure to be perfect in game 7 of the WS: knowing a blown call could change the game …. and each pitcher making the ball dance with mastery manipulation, nibbling corners …. This is really good.

Credit where credit is due. Thought Game 7 home plate umpire, Jordan Baker, called a great game. Just as much pressure on him to not screw this amazing WS finish up. Really all the umpiring was exceptional through the WS. They are humans, so we can’t expect perfect. But they were really really good. My take.

@mrgrips1 @Castellani2014 @VanzandtTom he’s thrown 56.66IP since the start of July. Gave up 16 earned runs, that’s a 2.54 era and had 74k’s too. That’s better than 2 good starts. It’s 6 good starts at minimum
