THANK GOODNESS - The judge is not allowing the audio from the FedEx van to be played by the media in TX v Tanner Horner. In the state's opening, they said Horner had covered up the camera inside the van, but audio was running as he was violently attacking 7-year-old Athena Strand for an hour. 😭

The bodycam that played this morning continued from when Horner finally showed investigators where Athena's body was. Horrific testimony on day 2 of TX v Tanner Horner: Horner told Texas Ranger Job Espinoza that 7-year-old Athena Strand asked him if he was a kidnapper. He also said he tried to break her neck, and when that didn't work, he strangled her with both his hands. Hunter was convicted of murdering a man in 195 and was released after 12 years. He then allegedly killed Theresa Green in 2002 and moved to California, where he killed a woman. He is currently serving a 110-year sentence for that murder. Finally, they charged him with Theresa's murder and extradited him to Florida, where he's been waiting a while for this trial. Florida is seeking the DP.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 63-year-old Sandra Dailey.  Ms. Dailey was reported missing to us around noon Thursday after she walked away from her home on Niagara Avenue around 8:30 am.m. We’re told Ms. Dailey has been diagnosed with Dementia and walks with a limp; we’re working hard to return her home safely.   Ms. Dailey is 5’05” and 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and salt and pepper hair. She was last seen wearing a rainbow shirt, denim pants, and purple shoes.  If you see Ms. Dailey or know where she is, call us at 904.630.0500. On July 21, 2025, she responded to a Facebook Marketplace listing and told a local veteran she had “cash in hand” for his SUV. She showed up, handed over an envelope that looked legit… and drove off. Plot twist: it was all movie prop money. And just like that, she vanished, deleting her profile before the victim realized he’d been scammed. We’re all for a good April Fools’ joke… but fraud isn’t funny. And ripping off a veteran makes us really mad. This performance deserves consequences, not applause. He’s responsible for a deadly crash earlier this year, and he took off before officers arrived. On Friday, January 2, 2026, our Traffic Homicide Unit detectives responded to University Boulevard South near Atlantic Boulevard to the deadly crash. When they arrived to the scene, they found a 27-year-old woman with severe burns to her body; sadly, she had passed away at the scene. Her car was severely damaged in the fiery wreck. A second vehicle was also damaged in the collision. Our detectives determined Rivera-Russo was speeding along University Boulevard when he hit the woman’s car, causing her to spin out and crash into a utility pole. Rivera-Russo then hit the second vehicle. His Dodge Challenger (pictured here) was damaged in the crash; Rivera-Russo walked away from his damaged car and the scene. Leaving the scene of a crash, especially one that sadly resulted in a death, is against the law.
