Every time the apologists for Trump's illegal blockade of Cuba open their mouths, they make our arguments for us.
Cuba's wealth in the 1950s was concetrated in the hands of the top 1% of that country: foreign mobsters, sugar plantation owners and the upper echelons of government.
The Cuban people were starving.
Cuba's GDP was higher in the 1950s because millions of dollars was being funneled through the Mafia's money laundering operations AND it is lower today because there has been a 60+ year embargo on Cuba by the United States.
