That's the very point and you are just as ignorant. Electrical energy does not travel through electrons bumping each other. There is no comparison to the way water travels - that's a common myth. We should be talking about electromagnetic waves, not physical media. Nothing snide about reality and you'd think somebody in such a position would have some idea.

"Wires and electrons" is a good shorthand when comparing it to the cost of running the gas network (with pumping stations), or pumping / tankering petroleum products around. This is what fossil fuels (and their mates) really are scared of. Even if you use them to generate electricity for EVs or heat pumps or cooking, you use a lot less if the end use is electric. And honestly, electric products are usually simply better as well as more efficient.

Great British patriot Katie Hopkins was kicked out of the Dundee Arms in Bethnal Green. I thought this was still a free society. But when people are thrown out of establishments simply because others dislike their politics, it says everything. The irony is hard to ignore: those who constantly preach tolerance, diversity and inclusion often seem the least tolerant of opposing views. If your response to disagreement is censorship, exclusion, and silencing people, then you’ve already lost the argument.
