can someone in chicago tell me how we are supposed to get quick and accurate updates for @Metra nothing is ever posted in the apps. they don’t tweet. nothing on the website. our train has been sitting here not moving for 10 min.

Metra will operate a Sunday/Holiday Schedule for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026. No alcohol will be allowed on any Metra train. As a reminder, the elevator that provides access to Millennium Station and South Water Street for persons with disabilities will be out of service while it is being replaced. ADA customers are advised to use Van Buren Street Station as an alternative. Visit metra.com for additional information.

Metra will be expanding both weekday and weekend schedules on its Rock Island Line beginning Monday, June 1. The new schedules will significantly expand weekend service, address gaps in weekday service to meet customer requests, and change stopping patterns on some off-peak trains to better reflect ridership patterns and travel times.
